Listening Room

Status: Public MVP evolving

A way to get acquainted with the artists at a festival by finding their music and listening to reviewed recordings.

The problem

A large festival lineup can be hard to discover one artist at a time, especially when unfamiliar performers are scattered across genres and stages.

What I designed and decided

I set the discovery goals, artist-first experience, metadata and playlist rules, verification gates, and the boundaries between what is public and what is still experimental.

Working with AI

AI-assisted development has supported research workflows, data organization, frontend work, testing, and release coordination. I guide scope, product decisions, and review.

What works today

The public no-login experience lets visitors explore festival artists and follow links to reviewed recordings. Playlist ranking and broader public playlist publication are separate work, not implied by the current experience.

What's next

Continue expanding artist discovery, validated listening options, and the usefulness of the public experience while respecting API quotas and music rights.
